Exotic wood or Siberian larch?

The best decking boards possible?
Choosing decking boards can be seen as an investment, often a long-term investment. Products made from noble species of wood guarantee quality, durability, and exceptional aesthetics. Examples of "long-lasting" boards are those made from Siberian Larch or exotic woods such as Bangkirai, Ipe, Massaranduba, Mukulungu, Garapa, etc...

Siberian Larch.
Boards made from this wood are characterized by very high resistance to weather conditions and any mechanical damage that could potentially threaten our deck. Siberian Larch is a tree that grows in a highly harsh climate, with smaller annual growth rings, making it significantly more durable and hard compared to European larch, for example. It has a subtle orange hue and distinctive grain pattern. Additionally, it can be stained to any color, and its price is relatively low considering the high quality. The lifespan of Siberian Larch is estimated at 12-15 years with proper maintenance.

Exotic woods.
Highly recommended are also decking boards made from exotic woods, such as Bagkirai, Massaranduba, Ipe, Teak, Garapa, etc. Their advantages include exceptional hardness and resistance, making the deck require very little maintenance or sometimes none at all. The material is also characterized by high density. These boards are naturally very durable, but to maintain their color, oiling is necessary. The color itself is incredibly original. The non-uniform color of Bangkirai includes light shades of brown and dark chocolate, tones of red, orange, and even purple. By choosing this type of decking boards, we can be sure that their lifespan will be at least 20, and even 25 years.
