Bangkirai
Bangkirai is a species of exotic wood characterized by a color ranging from light to dark brown, occasionally with a yellow-brown hue. It has a dense and uniform structure, and is not susceptible to impregnation. Bangkirai is excellent for both exterior and interior structural constructions that require high strength, such as decks, bridges, riverbank protections, and stairs. Oil treatment is recommended to maintain the wood's natural color and prevent the surface from turning silver-gray.
Wood Characteristics
The wood is very hard, making it highly resistant to sun, snow, and rain exposure. It has excellent mechanical properties and high resistance to wear and impact.
